This year’s event introduces a slight shift in scheduling. For the first time, the exhibition will run from Tuesday to Thursday, moving away from its traditional Wednesday-to-Friday format. The accompanying Intersolar Europe Conference will precede the exhibition, taking place on June 22 and 23, offering attendees deep dives into market developments, financing, and large-scale PV projects.

The history of Intersolar Europe is a testament to the solar industry’s remarkable ascent. What began in 1991 as a small gathering called Solar ’91 in Pforzheim, Germany, has evolved into the planet’s most significant platform for solar technology. Founded by Solar Promotion GmbH, the exhibition moved to Freiburg in 2000 before relocating to the New Munich Trade Fair Center in 2008 to accommodate explosive growth.
